Heinnie Haynes – Money Pit!

Tuesday August 24, 2010

Heinnie Haynes is an online shop which keeps taking my money!  In a good way.

I have spent a lot of money at HH over the years and it’s one website which I visit daily to see what new ‘toys’ they have for sale.

They stock a wide range of kit which could be of use to cyclists, ranging from knives and multi-tools, through to survival gear, watches and torches.

Online ordering is quick and secure and customer support is quick and effective.  In-Stock goods are dispatched quickly and P&P is free but you also have the option to pay for next-day delivery (they also ship internationally) .

Rugby: Wales 21 Australia 18

Sunday November 30, 2008

Despite being Welsh, yesterday saw my first trip to an international rugby match – and what a day to go!  The tickets were very kindly donated by some great work colleagues and they were some good seats at the end of the field at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.

Having only watch rugby on the TV before, I wasn’t really ready for the excitement and spectacle of a match in ‘person’.  The noise, the smell, the cheering, the singing and the roar as the Welsh team ran out on to the field.  Music blarring, huge flames leaping 30 feet into the air… the pride!  This is Welsh rugby.  This IS Wales!

Over 74,000 people attended the match.  The Cardiff streets around the stadium prior to the match were a sea of red, with the occasional yellow of the Australian supporters.  No hassle, no fear.  Australians mingled with the Welsh in a friendly and joyous atmosphere.

And the result: a tense but exciting win for Wales!
