A New Me?

Sunday August 7, 2011

Time for a change?  I think so.

We’ve just come back from a week in Burgundy and I’m suitably relaxed despite the many miles of driving around the region and drive there and back.  With a hectic and busy few months now behind me, it’s time to force myself to change and get out of the rut that I’m in.  The bikes must once more be freed from the confides of the house!

Viva la liberté!  Viva la vélo!

  1. Absolutely, time to ride! By the way, after hinting that you might need a low-maintenance single-speed bike to just hop on and ride, I ended up getting one for myself (got a great deal on a used one) — and I’m having a lot of fun with it.

    Best,
    Rob

    • What did you get?!

  2. I found a great deal on a Trek Soho S that was in very good condition. I’ve like the Soho S for a while, so when I saw a good deal come up I had to grab it. No regrets, having a great time on it and I think the single-speed is making me a bit stronger.

  3. May the Force be with you!

btw thinking Bromton as add to my huge-uprgaded Dahon as bike to be everywhere with me …

    • What’s the status? Keep us posted 🙂

      • Morning!

I’m on the right track! 🙂

I’ve started running again so I’m feeling more alive. I have a day off work on Thursday and I’m planning on a lazy day and taking a look at the two bikes is on my list. Planning on cleaning them and getting them ready to ride (something I have been planning on doing all year!).

        Hope you are well.
